Waste-Less Holiday Market

Join us for our third annual Waste-Less Holiday Market!

Come support vendors and find locally made gifts with minimal packaging. You can also check out what’s on our shelves at the Reuse Centre and pick up some other holiday essentials, like bags, baskets and even decorations, while you’re here!

Supporting local vendors means less emissions and waste from transporting goods, helping to reduce your environmental impact.

DIY Thursday Workshops

DIY Thursdays are free workshops featuring local experts that focus on building skills to help you reduce waste! Past DIY Thursdays have included: Bike repair workshops, gardening workshops and sewing.

Time/Duration: 6-8pm (2hrs)

Reuse Centre Swap Events

Swap events focus on specific types of items, such as books, movies, and toys. Residents can trade items with each other at no charge in a fun and safe environment.

Rather than throwing them away, or letting them collect dust on the shelf, you can give them a second life and find something new for yourself! Bring up to five items to trade, free of charge.

The Reuse Centre will still be open for regular business during the swap, so you are welcome to drop off any donations you may have while you're here.

January 18	Regift Bring unwanted holiday gifts to trade for new ones. Items must be smaller than a bread box and in good condition.
February 17 Family Day	Toys Swap your usable outgrown toys!
March 15	Seeds and Plants Swap
May 17	Small Appliances Countertop or handheld only. Must be clean and in safe and usable condition.
