We call you an expert, but if you have a passion for sharing your waste reduction skills, please sign up for one of our available slots.
Available Dates:
Swap events focus on specific types of items, such as books, movies, and toys. Residents can trade items with each other at no charge in a fun and safe environment.
Rather than throwing them away, or letting them collect dust on the shelf, you can give them a second life and find something new for yourself! Bring up to five items to trade, free of charge.
The Reuse Centre will still be open for regular business during the swap, so you are welcome to drop off any donations you may have while you're here.
Time: 10am-3pm
Date | Event Type |
---|---|
May 17 | Small Appliances Countertop or handheld only. Must be clean and in safe and usable condition. |
June 14 | Sporting Goods Bring in your usable sporting goods. No machines or weights. |
July 19 | Movies and Music Swap your usable commercially recorded cassettes, CD’s and DVD's. |
Looking to host your own event? Our workshop room is available free of charge to groups promoting Reuse and Reduction education.
The Reuse Centre also offers programming for schools and community groups.
The Community Clean Up Grant provides funds to organizations so that they can conduct a community waste or litter removal project.
