Construction Update - October 2025
The second year of Allendale Alley Renewal is complete. Crews removed the existing road structure, placed a new gravel base, conducted minor concrete replacement and installed new asphalt pavement.
All of the alleys in this year’s scope have now been fully completed, including all landscaping restoration.
2025 construction began in May and was finished the last week of September. The 2025 construction season was a success and we completed all planned construction including:
- The reconstruction of 17 alleys
- The planting of 11 new trees in the green spaces located between 104 Street and 105 A Street, north of 63 Avenue
- The replacement of all the wooden bollards in the green spaces
All Alley Renewal work in Allendale is now considered fully complete. Warranty work will take place over the next two years.
