The Towards 40 program is exploring traffic safety improvements in Watt Common and 54 Street/4 Avenue.
The 40 Street and Hermitage Road project areas are now in the Installing Adaptable Measures phase of the Towards 40 Program Roadmap. Installations are expected to start as early as July 8 and continue throughout the summer.
The Final Design and What We Decided Report are now available, which reflect City policies, technical considerations and What We Heard.

The 118 Avenue project area between 106 Street and 109 Street is now in the Sharing Final Design phase of the Towards 40 Roadmap. The Background Report, draft design, What We Decided Report and final design are now available to view in the project history below. Installations of the final design are expected to occur in fall 2024, weather permitting.

The Wagner Road project area is in the Creating Draft Designs phase of the Towards 40 Roadmap. The Background Report includes feedback from stakeholders and information collected from the project team during public engagement at the Gathering Information phase.
The draft design will soon be available for stakeholders in the area to review and provide feedback. Keep an eye on this page for updates.
