The Phase 2 Parking Ban resumes on Monday, January 10. As of 7am, vehicles in residential and industrial areas must be moved off of the roadways to allow crews to effectively clear the snow. Edmontonians can view an interactive online map to confirm where crews are operating and which areas have been cleared.

Construction began in May 2020 and is expected to be complete in 2022. Work in 2020 focused on demolishing the station building and constructing new accesses at the end of each platform. Work in 2021 will focus on constructing a new platform and a new overhead canopy.

Various studies and an updated Stadium Station Area Redevelopment Plan identified need for upgrades to the station
Studies completed in recent years identified the need for upgrades to the Stadium LRT Station. An updated Stadium Station Area Redevelopment Plan (ARP) completed in 2017 confirmed the need to align these upgrades with planned Transit Oriented Development in the area.
Feedback gathered during public engagement was summarized into 3 key themes:
