The 18 Street Bridge over Horsehills Creek will be replaced. Construction will begin in 2025.
Project Update - February 2025
Construction on the 18 Street Bridge over Horsehills Creek is anticipated to start in spring 2025 and is expected to be completed in fall 2025.
The bridge has reached the end of its service life and needs to be replaced.
During construction, 18 Street will temporarily be closed for the duration of the project. Detours will be available at 227 Avenue for access to Horsehill Road.
The original bridge will be replaced with a new, wider bridge that meets current roadway standards and ensures safety for all.
