The 167 Street SW Bridge, located over Whitemud Creek on Range Road 254 is being replaced.
Construction to replace 167 Street SW Bridge, located over Whitemud Creek on Range Road 254, will begin in early February 2024 and is anticipated to be complete by the end of 2024.
The bridge is being replaced as it has reached the end of its useful service life.
This work will require the full closure of the bridge.
During construction, no through traffic will be permitted on 167 Street SW. Local access to the north and south of the bridge will be maintained. Traffic can detour along Highway 19 or Township Road 510.
Scope of Work
- Demolition of existing bridge and guardrails
- Piling (abutments and piers)
- Construction of new bridge
- Roadway excavation and backfilling
- Landscaping and restoration
