If you ride ETS, there's a good chance you'll visit one or more transit centres or LRT stations daily. Transit centres and LRT stations function as hubs, allowing people to transfer between routes or serve as starting points or final destinations.
From your weekday commute to taking the bus to football games, ETS has Park & Ride lots located across the city to help transit customers get to where they need to go.
The City of Edmonton offers Wi-Fi service at all LRT platforms. Users can access the free public Wi-Fi by selecting Open City Wi-Fi from the list of wireless networks on their devices.
LRT arrival boards are installed at many LRT stations on the platform level. These messaging boards contain visual elements that help transit riders identify the end destination (Century Park, Health Sciences/Jubilee, Clareview, NAIT, Mill Woods or 102 Street), and know when the next train will arrive in minutes.
The scrolling text along the bottom of the arrival boards at Capital/Metro Line stations are regularly updated with ETS-related news, such as elevator and escalator outages, current weather, ETS contact information and more.
LRT stations are equipped with features such as automatic doors, elevators, escalators, ramps, yellow warning tiles and audio announcements. Various transit centres and LRT stations also have accessible public washrooms.
