Coronation Park is walking distance to a playground, Peter Hemingway Aquatic Centre and the Telus World of Science. The picnic sites are covered with a canopy for shade and there is a large grassy area for the public to use.
Coronation Park has 3 picnic sites available for reservation during the summer. Picnic site tables not reserved in advance may be used on a first-come, first-served basis.
