The Residential Parking Program is Reverting to its Original Form
On July 3, 2024, City Council passed a motion to pause the new Residential Parking Program (RPP) and revert it to its original form that was in effect until May 31, 2024. This means the 19 participating neighbourhoods will continue to be a part of the program with their existing hours and temporary/visitor permitting requirements. Residents are asked to continue to display their expired permits.
The City will undertake additional focused public engagement, integrate feedback received during the initial program rollout and report back with recommended potential program adjustments to the Urban Planning Committee in the first quarter of 2026.
