On October 8, Edmonton City Council passed a motion to help social and cultural organizations, as well as seniors, have improved access to voting stations by distributing transit passes for use on federal election day Monday October 21. ETS is bringing this initiative to life.

Smart Fare Validators Being Installed on ETS Buses
The Smart Fare electronic payment system is a step closer with the installation of fare validators starting Tuesday October 15 in all public buses for Edmonton, St. Albert and Strathcona County.
Route 599 Discontinued
Due to low ridership, Route 599 will be discontinued. The last day of service will be December 31, 2019. For all inquiries, please contact Sturgeon County at (780) 939-8336.
ETS Detours due to Bonnie Doon Traffic Circle Reconfiguration
Effective August 8, ETS will permanently adjust bus routes 4, 80, 83, 307 and 322 due to the reconfiguration of the Bonnie Doon traffic circle into an intersection.
Football Park & Ride changes for the 2019/20 season
Kicking off with the first Edmonton Eskimos home game on Sunday, May 26, ETS will be opening a new Football Park & Ride at Eaux Claires Transit Centre and NAIT (Lot D) to improve service delivery. Due to operational challenges and ongoing construction, there will be no football Park & Ride service this season from Burns City Lot or Kingsway Mall.
University Transit Centre, Bus Stop #2001 closed until 2021
Beginning May 27, bus stop #2001 will be closed at University Transit Centre for the duration of campus construction taking place near the transit centre. Passengers can use bus stop #2002 south of the transit centre to board Routes 4, 51, 54, 106 and 318.
Bus Detours for Valley Line LRT Construction
From April 28 until late November, Routes 112, 322 and 965 will detour off 95 Avenue between 85 Street and 92 Street to accommodate TransEd's Valley Line LRT construction. During TransEd's work, all bus stops on 95 Avenue from 85-92 Street will be temporarily closed.
Groat Road Detour
Starting Sunday December 2, 2018, Routes 128 and 130, as well as School Specials 725 and 757 will detour away from Groat Road until the completion of the Bridge and Road Renewal project in summer 2020. If you use these routes, please plan ahead.
Cannabis use on ETS - Know the Rules
Cannabis is now legal across Canada, but it's important to know the rules. In Edmonton, just like tobacco, cannabis cannot be consumed on buses or LRT, nor inside bus shelters, bus terminals, LRT stations or platforms. Full details about cannabis legalization in Edmonton
Corona Station Escalators Replacement
Both escalators on the east side of the Corona Station platform are currently undergoing complete replacement and will be out of service until spring 2020. To move between the station’s concourse and platform, please use the stairs or elevators.
