Commonwealth Stadium has limited accessible parking, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Commonwealth Stadium is wheelchair accessible. DATS service is welcome. Gates 2, 6, and 11 are wheelchair accessible. An elevator is available at Gate 11. Covered spectator spaces are available for wheelchair users; an attendant and two family covered spaces are available as well. Tickets must be purchased for these seating areas. Accessible washrooms and family change rooms are also available.

There are two AED units located in the Stadium which members of the public can access in case of emergency. They are located in the East and West concessions.
All guests who appear under the age of 25 will be required to show valid government-issued ID to purchase alcohol. Guests serving alcohol to minors will be subject to arrest. Alcohol may not be brought into the stadium. Guests attempting to bring alcohol into the stadium will be denied entry or removed. Any guest that is denied entry or removed for any violation of facility rules will not be issued a refund.
An alcohol policy is in effect to assist with responsible consumption. Individuals who appear to be intoxicated will be removed from the premises by a sober friend or family member or in a taxi at their own expense. Drunk and disorderly behaviour may also result in arrest and prosecution. Members of the Commonwealth Stadium staff and Edmonton Police Service are available to assist at all times and the public is asked to report any unacceptable behaviour.
There are specific sections of the stadium that are designated “Alcohol Free” and tickets can be purchased for these areas. Currently these sections are AA, BB, CC, and the south half of section A. Signage is visible at the top of section A to distinguish which half is non-alcohol.
Animals are not permitted in Commonwealth Stadium with the exception of accredited service animals and service animals in training.
Baby changing stations are located in all washrooms throughout Commonwealth Stadium. There are also gender neutral washrooms available near Gate 2 and Gate 9.
Commonwealth Stadium has a no bag policy for all guests attending events at the venue to make entry faster, safer and easier for everyone.
Signs must be handheld, event-related, in good taste, and cannot obstruct another guest’s view. They may not contain commercial messages, logos or political endorsements, or profanity. They may not be hung from affixed stadium structures.
Signs on sticks or poles, or constructed of wood or metal material, are also not permitted. Management reserves the right to confiscate signs that are in violation of stadium policy.
Free bike valet service is available for all Edmonton Elks home games, located at the north east corner of Clarke Stadium. Bike valet service opens 1 hour prior to the game's start time and closes 1 hour after the game ends. Bicycle helmets can be stored with your bike at the bike valet.
This family-oriented area is located in and around Gate 2, and opens one hour before kickoff for every Edmonton Elks home game.
This special section includes Kids Club sales, colouring / sign making, sensory kits and complimentary stroller check during all Edmonton Elks home games.
Single game tickets in Brickley’s Knothole Corner, located in sections BB and CC are $22.
Still cameras (non-professional, 200 mm lens or smaller) are permitted for Edmonton Elks games. Professional grade cameras, tripods, selfie sticks are not permitted. Please note, additional restrictions may be in place for live concerts.

A child safety wristband program is available at the Information Booths on the East and West concourse of Commonwealth Stadium to help reunite lost children with parents/guardians.
Concessions open 1 hour prior to the start of Edmonton Elks games. Cash or credit cards are accepted. Bank machines are located in the east and west pods.
Food coolers are not permitted at Edmonton Elks games and major stadium events. You may bring in small amounts of snack foods, with the exception of peanuts in the shell.
A number of courtesy phones are available for guest use. Phones are located on the east and west sides of the concourse.
The curb lane on 112 Avenue eastbound from 95 Street to Stadium Road is a dedicated drop-off and pick up location for the general public and ride share.

There is an elevator located at Gate 11 to grant access from the ground level to the stadium Concourse. No elevator access to the field level for any events.
Should there be a need to evacuate the stadium for any reason a message will be played on the PA system informing all how to proceed. Security, ushers and EPS will work to make certain that everyone remains safe and makes their way to the designated areas depending on the severity of the emergency. Spectators will be called back into the stadium (seating) once the emergency has been resolved with the aid of PA announcement.

There is a No Re-Entry policy in effect. Guests who wish to leave Commonwealth Stadium will not be allowed to re-enter.
St. John Ambulance attendants provide first aid throughout the stadium. First Aid tents are set-up on the concourse during Edmonton Elks games and major events. If you require first aid, you can notify a Commonwealth Stadium staff member and they will radio a First Aid Attendant to provide assistance.

Commonwealth stadium offers a variety of food and beverage options sold through the many concessions located on the east and west concourses.
Gate opening times will vary on an event-by-event basis. For Edmonton Elks games, all gates open one hour prior to the start of games.
Commonwealth Stadium is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. Guests who interfere with play, use foul language, make obscene gestures, smoke, or appear to be impaired may be ejected.

Located in the West Pod, the Jackie Parker Room is open to the public during all Edmonton Elks games and available on non-game days for private bookings. This space features a salute to the history of the Edmonton Elks franchise and food and beverage options for ticket holders.
This family-oriented area is located in and around Gate 2, and opens one hour before kickoff for every Edmonton Elks home game.

All lost and found items will be taken to the information desk at Commonwealth Community Recreation Centre after the event.

If a guest has become separated from his or her party, individuals looking for the lost guest should be escorted directly to the information booth, located on the east and west concourse.
If you find a lost person or lose a person, feel free to ask any Commonwealth Stadium staff member for assistance, or proceed to an information booth.
You can take a Capital Line train to Stadium LRT Station.
The LRT is free 2 hours before kickoff, during the game and 2 hours post-game when you show your Edmonton Elks ticket.
There are merchandise outlets available in the east and west pods inside the stadium. The Team Store is also open on game days and Monday through Friday from 9-5pm. Merchandise sales for concerts and live entertainment events vary.
Lung-powered noisemakers are welcome at Edmonton Elks games. Please show respect for your fellow fans when using noisemakers. Such devices may be confiscated at the discretion of management.
Air horns, megaphones, whistles and other mechanical noisemakers are not permitted.
Fans who have purchased their Edmonton Elks game day ticket in advance qualify for the Ticket to Ride program. With Ticket to Ride, Elks game-day tickets are valid fare on:
Regular bus and LRT: 2 hours before the game, during the game, and 2 hours after the game.
Park and Ride: Starts 2 hours before the game and ends once the stadium clears after the game. Non-stop direct service to every Edmonton Elks home game is available from 4 areas in the city.

There is no parking on-site at Commonwealth Stadium during CFL football games and major events. Public transportation is highly encouraged.
Residential parking restrictions are in effect during major events. Only residents with valid permits are allowed to park in these areas. Vehicles in violation of the parking restrictions will be tagged and towed. We ask all guests to be courteous and respect the neighbourhoods that surround Commonwealth Stadium.
Commonwealth Stadium has partnered with the Edmonton Expo Centre (7515 118 Avenue) for $16 parking at select lots (debit or credit only). Once there, it is just one LRT stop to the stadium from the north lot or a short walk from the south or Borden Park lot.
Get your general admission tickets in the two north end Party Decks. These limited ticket, standing party areas are located in the lower-bowl north end zone for a game experience like no other.

Approved Stadium seat cushions are one piece with no zippers, pockets, attachments or concealed areas.
Commonwealth Stadium can hold 56,302 spectators. It is the second largest stadium in Canada, after Olympic Stadium in Montreal, and the largest open-air stadium in Canada.
Commonwealth Stadium seats are 19 to 22 inches wide depending where you are sitting. There are also bucket seats that do not have armrests. Seating can be accommodated with a regular chair in one of the accessible areas as an alternative. Once you arrive, if there are any seating issues, you can connect with one of the ushers in the high visibility vests and they will be able to help with relocation.
The stadium employs security staff to monitor the safety of spectators that attend events at the stadium. Security is responsible for doing bag checks and random pat downs at the entry gates, monitor both prohibited and restricted items and actions, oversee the alcohol license requirements and make the stadium a safe place to come and enjoy an event.
Security staff are identified by the blue polo shirt or blue jacket depending on the weather. Security, ushering and Edmonton Police Service work together to monitor the crowds inside the stadium and take the appropriate actions to ensure an enjoyable time for all.
Commonwealth Stadium is a non-smoking facility. Smoking tobacco, vaping and cannabis consumption in a non-designated area will result in ejection from the stadium without refund.
Any form of Cannabis consumption or possession is prohibited on Commonwealth Stadium property at all times including stadium parking lots.
Smoking (tobacco and vaping) is only permitted in designated smoking areas outside gates 7 and 8. Please ask Stadium staff if you require assistance.
Stroller parking is available at all information booth locations and Knothole Corner. Commonwealth Stadium is not responsible for any missing, lost, stolen or damaged items while checked.
Small strollers are permitted in the stands (must fold and be able to be stored safely under your seat).

200 spots are reserved for tailgating passholders in Lot B. This space is an exciting space in the Elks Fan Park and all fans are welcome to join in on the pre-game festivities. The Elks tailgate has a waitlist, please contact the Elks Customer Service team to be added to the list.
The Edmonton Elks Team Store is located at Commonwealth Stadium (enter through the recreation centre). Gear up for game day or get a little Green and Gold in your every day.

Tickets on game day can be purchased in person at the Edmonton Elks Team Store until half time, and beginning 90 minutes prior to kick-off, tickets can be purchased at any ticket booth at the stadium.
Tickets can also be purchased at any Ticketmaster location or online at Ticketmaster.ca. Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster over the phone or via internet may be picked up at Will Call located at Gate 2 on the Southwest corner of Commonwealth Stadium. Small retractable umbrellas are permitted (must not obstruct another guest’s view). Umbrellas larger than 16” or with a point will not be permitted.
Each section in the stadium is staffed by ushers who are there to assist with everything from general event info to ticketing and wayfinding questions. Our staff are there and happy to assist no matter how big or small the task. Ushers can be identified by their bright yellow vests.
CFL games and major events will continue rain or shine unless otherwise specified. Please come prepared for the weather.
Small pocket-sized and collapsible umbrellas without a point are permitted in the venue. Large umbrellas will be confiscated.
Wheelchairs are available at each entrance gate to the stadium. Please check with an usher if you require assistance.
