
The City is working with United Way and Staples stores across Edmonton, for the first-ever, Stuff a Bus for Schools campaign, gathering donations of new school supplies to support Edmonton area students.

The Stuff a Bus for Schools campaign helps to provide students with the supplies needed for school, removes barriers to education and supports them with opportunities of a brighter future.
What to Donate
Examples of 'brand-new' school supplies needed:
- backpacks pencils, pens, erasers, binders, dividers, paper, notebooks, duotangs, crayons, pencil crayons, highlighters, markers, scissors, glue sticks, rulers and pencil cases.
How and Where to Donate
Donations will be collected in labelled donation boxes at City facilities from August 5-22.
On Saturday, August 23, Edmonton Transit Service buses will be parked at all 8 Staples stores in the city, with volunteers collecting donations of brand-new school supplies and monitary donations.

City staff and United Way volunteers will be onsite at Staples to receive monitary donations by debit, credit, and cash.
