In the 2023 State of the City address, Mayor Sohi emphasized the importance of youth engagement, regional collaboration and building an inclusive economy.
The 2023 Mayor’s State of the City address was delivered on May 9.
In this year’s State of the City, Mayor Sohi addressed business and community leaders from across the Edmonton region. He provided an update on the City of Edmonton’s economic development and the many ways that we are making it easier to do business in Edmonton.
We know that the Edmonton region is a leader in the hydrogen economy, talent attraction and retention, housing, climate action, and more. But Edmonton is also a place where the leaders of tomorrow can pursue their dreams, live affordably and lay down roots to support future generations for years to come. Throughout this address, Mayor Sohi emphasized the importance of youth engagement, regional collaboration and building an inclusive economy.
Together, these areas of focus support his goals to build an Edmonton for all.
