The Muttart Conservatory has special drop-in programming that changes throughout the year.

Seniors' Day

Date: the third Monday of every month (*except in February because of Family Day)
Time: 10:30am

Admission or membership applies.

Seniors' Day is a 45-minute speaker session with questions that includes:

Complimentary coffee from our Cafe Bloom
A tour of 1 of our pyramids

Join us at the Muttart Conservatory for A Talk on Growing and Propagation with our knowledgeable grower, Stephanie. Stephanie creates all our unique and beautiful planters in the gift shop as well as propagation in our back tropical greenhouse!

Complimentary coffee provided by Cafe Bloom and baked goods by the Glenora Park Retirement Living.

Happy Hour at Muttart (Ages 18+)

In partnership with Cafe Bloom, we will be hosting Happy Hour at Muttart.

Stop by Cafe Bloom to purchase a Happy Hour beverage and enjoy it throughout the pyramids! Cafe Bloom often has musical performances in their cafe on Wednesday evenings.

Bring a group of friends and play games provided by Muttart on the patio or in Centre Court.

Please note: Wednesday evenings are ages 18+ only.

Thursday Garden Experiments

Every Thursday evening we are digging deep and investigating new and curious things about plants and nature! Join us for an engaging experiment every Thursday!

Imagination Station

Ages 5 and under (parent/guardian supervision required)

Days: Daily
Time: 10am-3pm (later on some Thursdays)
Location: Classroom 3

Facility admission applies.

Join us at the Muttart Conservatory Imagination Station to play, create and discover! This drop-in program is for children ages 5 years old and under, however it is accessible for children of any age. Equipment that encourages free play and loose parts play will be available for children to play and build with.

This program is not facilitated and parental or guardian supervision is required.

Mornings at Muttart

Ages 3-5 years (parent/guardian supervision required)

Days: Monday-Friday
Time: 11am (for up to 30 minutes)
Location: Classroom 3

Facility admission applies.

Come join us in learning more about the world of plants and pyramids through fun activities such as reading books, sensory play, pyramid exploration, planting, crafts, games and more!

The Mornings at Muttart drop-in program is planned for 3-5 year old children, but is accessible for children of any age that would like to attend. Parental or guardian supervision is required to provide assistance with activities.

Guided Pyramid Tours

Join us every day for a guided tour of the pyramids.

Guided Pyramid Tours run 20 minutes and are led by knowledgeable interpreters who know all the details about the plants and species growing inside. Learn interesting facts about various plants from around the world and the climates they grow in!

Self-Guided Tours

Planning a visit for a group of 10 to 60 people? If our Guided Pyramid Tours aren’t the right fit, you can choose a Self-Guided Tour and explore at your own pace.

Take your time to enjoy the stunning glass pyramids and wander through the beautiful outdoor grounds. The Conservatory is located in Edmonton’s scenic river valley, with easy access to nearby walking trails and bike paths.

While you’re here, explore the many outdoor plant beds cared for by our horticultural team, including specialty gardens maintained by the Edmonton Horticultural Society and the Edmonton Native Plant Council.

Group Benefit: Groups that pay with a single invoice receive a 10% discount on admission. To plan your visit, please complete the booking form. A team member will contact you within 3–4 business days to confirm your details.
