Covered Walkway — The covered walkway provides shelter from the elements so that everyone can experience the plaza year-round.
East Formal Gardens - North — The gardens link both Sir Winston Churchill Square and City Hall Plaza. The north green space features the Madonna of the Wheat sculpture along with a friendship garden offering a respectful space for the raising of a tipi.
City Hall's primary use in summer is the fountain, and during winter is recreational skating. Events may be considered outside of those seasons.
