Program leaders are excited to share an adventure with you that will include fun activities, all taking place during fall, winter and spring. Get ready, get set and let's go! Your family does not want to miss out!
Play Rangers focuses on children and family participation, with planned special outdoor recreational activities that can be enjoyed by all. Children 6-12 years old are welcome to attend on their own.
New this summer Play Rangers will be at North East River Valley Park.
- Learn to find your way
- Acquire some basic navigation skills including map reading and compass work
- Learn to build some simple tarp shelters and if there is time even play some Outdoor games
All leaders:
- Have completed a security clearance
- Are trained in first aid
- Are certified specialists in fun!
Leaders are facilitators providing fun activities and ensuring safety for everyone. Parents and caregivers are responsible for their children at all times and must be available in the event of an emergency.
Programming will still be available on rainy and snowy days but may be cancelled during severe weather.
