Graffiti Grows Banner

As per Community Standards Bylaw 14600, it is the property owners responsibility to remove graffiti tags.

The graffiti bylaw falls under the same category as nuisance conditions - excess garbage, property in disrepair, long grass, etc.

This bylaw is to ensure that property owners keep their property maintained for the benefit of the whole community.

By following the 3Rs (Record, Report & Remove) to eliminate graffiti vandalism, you can become an effective partner in creating a safer, more welcoming Edmonton for everyone.

RECORD: Have you taken photos of the graffiti?

If you have been victimized by graffiti vandalism you need to record it for evidence and insurance purposes. Take photos of the vandalized area and record when it occurred. The Police will require this information when you report it.
