Thanks to all of the schools who participated in the Vibrant Crosswalk and DIY Signage activities for the 2023/2024 school year! Here are some photos of the crosswalks that were installed in 2024.
Request signage and tools to promote safe speeds at your school. You can request centreline signage, community lawn signs, portable driver feedback signs, automated enforcement, and/or an automated enforcement show and tell session.
The City of Edmonton and the Edmonton Police Service work together with Edmonton’s school boards to encourage safe behaviours around schools using enforcement, road design and engineering, community activation and engagement, and more. This year, routes to 5 schools are being assessed and upgraded.
