The City of Edmonton is strongly committed to providing the best services to all Edmontonians, including people with disabilities.

We continually identify ways of:

  • Improving the accessibility of City recreation facilities - leisure centres, arenas, parks, golf courses and attractions

  • Providing and promoting recreational opportunities for people with special needs

  • Providing a voice to City Council through the Accessibility Advisory Committee

  • Hosting events to provide awareness and celebrate the achievements of people of all abilities
