Before you begin this form, please visit the Partners in Parks Horticultural Beds map and collect the Bed Object IDs for the areas that you would like to volunteer in.  You will need these identification numbers to choose your preferred location and complete the form.

Volunteer Registration Process

  1. Complete and submit this Volunteer Registration Form.
  2. We will review your form submission and respond to you regarding next steps for onboarding.
  3. Program staff may ask you further questions about your activities and/or arrange a site visit.
  4. Volunteers must complete training, which is now available online. After the training presentation, there is a short quiz. If you want help or printed training resources, please contact the program staff.  
  5. The volunteer agreement is now part of the registration form.

Partners in Parks Volunteers will often work in semi-isolated locations where other people may not be present. Please provide us with an emergency contact that we can reach in the case of an emergency.






Weeding and litter pick up for a minimum of 10 hours/season is a requirement. Special activities such as non-invasive planting and special project installation is optional. For special projects like bird house and bee hotel installation, please contact program staff to get approval prior to installing.

Please visit the map now and find your perfect horticultural bed. Follow the instructions that pop open on the web map to reserve your bed. Please record the Bed ID in the section below.

Program staff will deliver supplies to you for the 2024 season. Old signs must be removed and new signs will be provided.

Note: If you answer yes, we will provide safety glasses that will fit over your prescribed glasses.



Maximum of 5 signs per volunteer.

Native plants are intended to help beautify your site but also enhance the ecology around your site. Though some plants may be considered edible, they are not intended for human consumption.  Subject to availability from our nursery.
