Step 1: Open Texting Profile - Click the ‘Set Up Online Profile’ link.
Step 2: Register Account - Follow the screen prompts. Note that the ‘Confirmation Code’ will be sent instantly to the mobile phone number provided once the ‘Create User’ button is clicked.
Step 3: Login - Follow the screen prompts entering your phone number without spaces or characters.
Step 4: Enter Trips - Click the ‘Enter Trip’ icon and fill out the information you would like to receive when sending a blank text. It is important to realize the ‘Active from’ and ‘Active to’ selections identify the period when the customized text service option is active. In other words, it identifies the window of time when sending a blank text will work.
Note that each trip should be entered separately. For example, your morning commute as one trip entry and your home commute as another. If you transfer buses within a single trip, you must also enter these separately.
Step 5: Complete Profile Information - Click the ‘Personal’ icon and follow the screen prompts. While this page is not mandatory to use the customized text service, it helps ETS improve service quality, gain a better understanding of who is using the service and has an opt-in feature to receive future service and promotion related information. Click the ‘Terms’ link for more details on information use.
Step 6: Reset Password - At any time, profile users can change their password. Simply click the ‘Password’ icon and follow the screen prompts.
