The John Walter Family story is enriched by the original buildings preserved at the John Walter Museum and the artifacts that represent the material culture of Edmonton from the 1870s to early 1900s.

The City of Edmonton Artifact Collection contains many artifacts related to John Walter and his family, as well as artifacts that depict what life was like in each of the 3 Walter homes. Each month Curator’s Corner will feature one of these artifacts.
