Skateparks will be opened starting May 22. Users should wait turns to use ramps and bars, consider wearing a mask and bring their own hand sanitizer and water. Users must also follow public health guidelines.

Guidelines

Anyone can use City of Edmonton skateparks for free!

Skateparks are open to any skateboarders, BMX riders, push scooters and inline skaters. Motorized vehicles are not permitted.

Skateboard Parks are staffed from noon-8pm during weekends in June, and all week in July and August (except The Meadows Community Recreation Centre Temporary park.) Skateboard park hosts are there to promote safety and maintain a positive and respectful park atmosphere. These staff are identifiable by the orange City of Edmonton T-Shirts.

We strongly recommend wearing a helmet, gloves and pads. Always skate/ride within your abilities to avoid injuries.

Locations

The two Temporary Skateparks at Elmwood Park and Killarney (shown in green on the interactive map), are not staffed and are currently skateboard only. (For example: no BMX, no scooters, etc.)
