Truck Routes

Trucks & Dangerous Goods

Heavy vehicles (over 8000 kg/12.5 m long) and vehicles carrying dangerous goods must adhere to the Truck Route Network. If the destination cannot be reached directly from a Truck Route, take the most direct and practical road off the nearest Truck Route.

Hard copies of the Edmonton Truck Route Map are available from the Transportation Operations Branch.

Road Bans

Road bans apply to vehicles where the weight of the carrying axle or axle group exceeds the percentage axle weight imposed by the road ban.
