Quesnell Bridge Transit Changes

Effective December 20, 2009

The Fox Drive “on” ramp to the Quesnell Bridge Northbound is tentatively scheduled to re-open on December 20, 2009.

Routes 4, 104, 105, 106, 133, 138 and 139 will no longer be on detour, returning to their regular routings.

All of these routes will maintain their “detour” schedules until January 3, 2010. 

Routes 4, 33, 106, and 133 may arrive at West Edmonton Mall up to 15 minutes earlier than shown on the new route brochures.

In the PM peak,  Routes 104, 105, 138, and 139 may arrive in the West Edmonton portion of their routes up to 15 minutes earlier than shown on the new route brochures.

On January 3, 2010, all routes will run according to the schedules printed on the new route brochures.

ETS apologizes for the confusion.  There is a difference in the bus running time and the schedule printed in the new route brochure caused by the uncertainty of the opening date for the Quesnell/Fox Drive ramp.

The first phase of construction to expand Quesnell Bridge March 1 - December 20, 2009 and it will have a major effect on bus service to and from west Edmonton.
