DATS Introduces I-Book
To help their clients book trips more efficiently as well as offering additional communication options, DATS is in the process of introducing web booking software.
This online booking tool will allow clients access to a number of self-service options including trip bookings, cancelling trips and checking trip status. Clients will be able to view information on their trips, their personal DATS profile (contact information, mobility aids, etc) and cancel trips 24 hours a day, every day of the week. They will also be able to book their own reservation trips during regular booking hours: Monday to Friday from 7:30am. - 5pm and Saturday to Sunday from 7:30am - 12pm.
The program will be tested with a small group of clients before being released to the entire customer group.

ETS Creative Destinations Contest
ETS has joined forces with a number of Arts District organizations to make getting to your creative destination more enjoyable, convenient and hassle free. The expansion of LRT to Century Park now brings a wide variety of world class entertainment within easy reach for many residents in south Edmonton as well as north.
To encourage you to sample their offerings, ETS and our Arts District Partners - Alberta Ballet, Art Gallery of Alberta, Citadel Theatre, Downtown Business Association, Edmonton International Film Festival, Edmonton Opera, Edmonton Public Library, Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, and Winspear Centre are bringing you the Creative Destinations Contest. It’s simple to enter. Go to www.takeETS.com, click on the link to the Creative Destinations Contest and go to the entry form. LRT Retail Kiosk Space Available
ETS is re-visiting the licensing of existing retail space in Central, Bay/Enterprise Square and Corona LRT stations. We've noticed a sizeable increase in commuter traffic since the South LRT extension to Century Park opened last April.
The spaces available offer a unique opportunity for new businesses to come into the downtown area.
ETS has 13 retail kiosks in the heart of downtown available for local businesses to provide a variety of services to ETS customers and others traveling through these areas. One of the spaces is at street level at 100A Street and Jasper Avenue while the remaining 12 are located on the mezzanine levels of the three downtown LRT stations.
Anyone interested in this business opportunity can refer to the Request for Proposal document available at www.takeETS.com. Proposals must be received before 4pm on Friday, October 29, 2010.
ETS Helps Kids Stay Safe on Halloween
ETS buses are a safe place to go if kids need assistance on Halloween night.
All ETS buses (and LRT) are equipped with two-way radios, so emergency assistance is just a phone call away. Uniformed ETS employees are highly visible and we encourage them to promote themselves as someone you can turn to in an emergency.
