Transfer Policy

Transfers can be made between buses and the LRT on a single fare. They allow boarding privileges, including return trips, for a period of 90 minutes. The transfer is torn at the time it expires. A valid transfer must be requested from the bus operator at the time the fare is paid. Proof of Payment receipts are issued from the fare receipt vending machines in LRT stations. Keep your receipt as Proof of Payment until you leave the paid area at your destination. Proof of Payment receipts may be used to transfer to a bus. Valid transfers issued by bus operators, receipts from LRT fare machines, or tickets validated for the LRT are proof of payment for all Edmonton Transit services.

Using the ETS Transfer

The ETS transfer expires where its torn. No more guesswork about how long you can use it.   The time is right at the tear.
As well, we've added noon and midnight to help those not familiar with the 24-hour clock.
