Splash & Ride Youth Pass...Go Swimming Go Work Out Go Anywhere
With the school year coming to a close, don’t forget to include the ETS Splash & Ride pass in your summer travel plans. This is the 14th year of this popular co-promotion with Community Services, and it continues to grow.
Youth 17 and under can get unlimited transit travel and free admission to 12 City Leisure Centres (including Commonwealth Sports & Fitness Centre and Kinsmen Sports Centre) during public hours in July and August. Remember you can use the pass at Borden Park, Mill Creek and Oliver outdoor pools too.
The Splash & Ride pass is designed to provide an economical summer travel option for youth, plus free access to City Leisure Centres for recreational swimming and use of fitness centres (where available - some restrictions apply).
The Splash & Ride Pass will get you:
- Unlimited recreational swims* at City of Edmonton Recreation Centres
- Unlimited workouts in fitness centres** at City of Edmonton Recreation Centres
- Unlimited regular transit service on ETS during July and August (See ETS Route Schedules & Maps) Participating City of Edmonton Recreation Centres
Where can I purchase the Splash & Ride pass?
Splash & Ride passes go on sale at twelve City of Edmonton Recreation Centres, Edmonton Transit Customer Service At Churchill Station mid June or online. Note: passes cannot be purchased at the outdoor pools.
What is the cost?
$101 (includes GST) and is valid July and August 2009
What are the restrictions on the pass?
Children under eight years must be accompanied into the water by a responsible person 13 years or older.
Use of fitness centre restricted to individuals 12 years of age or older. Youth 12 to 15 years of age who wish to use the fitness centre must complete the Youth in Action program. Check eReg.edmonton.ca to find the next available Youth in Action program.For the transit portion of a Splash and Ride pass, the pass is transferable as long as the individual using the pass is seventeen years of age or less.
For the Recreation Centre portion of the pass, the pass is non-transferable and use is restricted to the registered holder of the pass.
