News and other Information
Tickets and Day Passes
- Customers with ETS ticket strips (full strips of 10 tickets) and unused day passes expiring at the end of 2008 may exchange them at the ETS Customer Information Centre, located on the concourse level of Churchill LRT Station.
Last day for exchange is Friday, January 30, 2009
Due to printing delays from our suppliers, the 2009 Day Pass is not available for purchase at this time. Delivery is anticipated early in the new year. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Updates on the arrival of the Day Pass will be posted to our website.
CNIB Customers
- For customers who are visually impaired and who possess a CNIB ID card, ETS service on buses and the LRT is free. Use of a white cane or service animal alone does not qualify an individual for this fare service - the CNIB card must be shown to the bus operator upon boarding.
Student Pass Unrestricted
- Starting September 1, students using ETS Student Passes will have no restrictions on their travel on the transit system. The ETS Student Pass will be valid for travel every day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
Students continue to buy their passes at the school they attend. There is no change to the pass distribution process; the sale of student passes continues to be administered by the school boards through local schools.
UofA Staff ONEcard (ADMIN-Pass).
- The University of Alberta Staff carry a ONEcard, which is valid for the LRT use only between Health Sciences and Churchill Station ONLY. This pass allows travel between the University campuses only and is not valid for bus service. This pass does not require a sticker, and must be clearly marked "Staff" on the front to be valid.
