A planning application (map) has been received to rezone specific lands located in the Lewis Farms Industrial neighbourhood.
The application proposes to rezone lands from Rural Residential Zone (RR) to Low Intensity Business Zone (CB1) and Direct Development Control Provision (DC1) to allow for low-intensity business and business employment uses.
The specific properties affected by the proposed plan amendment and rezoning are:

- 20907 97 Avenue NW, 21003 97 Avenue NW, 21007 97 Avenue NW, 21103 97 Avenue NW, and 21210 97 Avenue NW
- 21310 98 Avenue NW
- 9811 209 Street NW
- 9710 210 Street NW and 9815 210 Street NW
- 9803 213 Street NW, 9821 213 Street NW, and 9828 213 Street NW
- 9915 Winterburn Road NW
The draft DC1 provision proposes two separate areas for low-intensity business and business employment uses within the Lewis Farms area.
There is an associated application to amend the Lewis Farms Area Structure Plan and create a new Neighbourhood Structure Plan that would change the land use in the area from rural residential to business employment.
