A planning application (map) has been accepted for neighbouring properties at the northeast corner of Jasper Avenue NW and 108 Street NW.
The application includes properties at 10125 108 Street NW, 10133 108 Street NW, 10722 Jasper Avenue NW, 10744 Jasper Avenue NW, and 10752 Jasper Avenue NW.
The draft DC2 application proposes a mixed-use development, with two residential towers of 35 and 45 storeys and a connecting mid-rise building. This would allow for up to 1,050 residential units, and commercial uses at street level.
A segment of the lane running east-west between the properties is proposed to be closed. Public access would continue to be provided by easement, and the building would bridge over the closed lane.
The rezoning also proposes the removal of the existing north Corona LRT station entrances, to be replaced with a public entrance within the new building's ground floor level.
