Terwillegar Park Footbridge construction achieves milestone
In April 2016, the City of Edmonton finished the installation of 86 deck panels which will form the walking surface of the Terwillegar Park Footbridge. The videos above show the timelapse of the installation from the south and north banks.
About the footbridge
A new 262 meter long footbridge will link Terwillegar Park in the southwest to River Valley Oleskiw on the north side of the river. The unique, minimalist profile of the first ‘stressed ribbon’ bridge in Edmonton will provide a striking river valley crossing.
