Fees & Financing
Starting January 1, 2012 monthly waste service fees for single family households will increase from $31.34 to $33.20. The monthly fee for multi-family units will increase from $20.37 to $21.58.
The fees also support all waste services, including:
- Waste Collection
- Blue Bag and Blue Bin Collection
- Eco Stations
- Assisted Collection
- Recycling Depots
- Reuse Centre
- Big Bin Events
- Edmonton Waste Management Centre Operations
The new Integrated Processing and Transfer Facility (IPTF) and other planned facilities will enable the City of Edmonton to reach 90 per cent diversion by 2015.
