Eco Stations

Eco Stations are comprehensive waste drop-off facilities.
  • Bring your household hazardous waste such as leftover paint, oven cleaner, car batteries, even old computer monitors and electrical appliances at no charge!
  • Bring your big bulky items like old sofas, fridges, fencing and rubble, anything you might take to a landfill. (Charges apply)
  • Bring your household recyclables such as newspaper, metal cans, milk jugs and more!
New Eco Station coming soon!

A new
 Eco Station will open in November in southwest Edmonton.

Eco Stations cannot accept:

  • Commercial hazardous waste
  • Commercial biomedical waste
  • Expired medications
  • Explosives
  • Radioactive waste
  • Munitions
  • Fireworks
  • Pressurized gases

Take home some free paint. Usable paint is offered to customers free of charge. (limit 4 cans/visit - quality not guaranteed) At last count over 50,000 litres of free paint have been given away.

Summer -  March 30, 2009 to November 14, 2009
9am to 6:30pm, Monday - Saturday
Closed Sunday and statutory holidays

Winter -   November 14, 2009
9am to 4:30pm, Tuesday - Saturday
Closed Sunday, Monday and statutory holidays
