Composting/Grasscycling

 Composting

Composting is a natural process that breaks down organic materials like vegetable peelings, grass and leaves into a dark, earthy, soil-like material called compost. Compost is an excellent soil conditioner for plants, gardens and lawns.

  Grasscycling

Grasscycling means leaving grass clippings on the lawn while mowing. Grasscycling eliminates the time and effort needed to fill garbage bags and reduces the amount of waste that needs to be collected and processed. It also refertilizes the lawn as clippings decompose and release nutrients back into the soil.
