Ambleside Eco Station Reuse Area

Reuse means to use something again and again rather than only once. The goal of reuse is to keep using items as long as they have a function or value.

The Ambleside Reuse Area makes various items dropped off at the Ambleside Eco Station available to individuals for reuse.

Accepted Items

Items brought into the Eco Station for disposal that are deemed to be in good condition and reusable will be set out in the Reuse Area for a limited time for pickup. Examples include furniture, electronics, and appliances. 

Fees

There is no charge to take away items from the Reuse Area and customers do not have to drop off items to take away items from the Reuse Area.

Customers dropping off items for disposal that are suitable for the Reuse Area will be charged for the items based on the Eco Station Disposal Rates.

Ambleside Eco Station is located at 14710 Ellerslie Road SW

Hours

Summer -  March 26, 2012 to November 17, 2012
9am to 6:30pm, Monday - Saturday
Closed Sunday and statutory holidays

Winter -   November 20, 2012 to March 2013
9am to 4:30pm, Tuesday - Saturday
Closed Sunday, Monday and statutory holidays
