Training & Exercises
An effective emergency management program must include a regular training and exercise program that allows people with a role in the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) to learn about their responsibilities and to practice them on a regular basis.
Training
The following training is available to City staff through the Office of Emergency Preparedness:
- ICS 100: Introduction to Incident Command System
- ICS 200: Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents
- ICS 300: Expanding Incidents
- Introduction to Emergency Management
- Emergency Operations Centre Management
