ICS 200: Single Resources and Initial Actions Incidents
Course Description
This course is designed to enable personnel to operate efficiently during an emergency incident or unplanned event within the Incident Command System (ICS). This course focuses on the management of single resources.
Intended Audience
This course is intended for, but not limited to:
- City personnel with a role in the EOC
- Partner agencies, such as Capital Health Region, EPCOR and ATCO
- Non-government agencies such as Salvation Army, Canadian Red Cross
- Volunteer organizations such as ARES
- Police, fire and EMS supervisory personnel
Learning Outcomes
At the conclusion of this course, you should be able to:
- Describe the ICS organization appropriate to the complexity of the incident or event.
- Use ICS to manage an incident or event.

Introduction to Incident Command System (ICS 100)
Length
This course is a two day course. Class time is 0830-1600 hrs each day.
