ETS provides Customer Communication Cards to help customers communicate their trip needs to their bus driver.
The set of Customer Communication Cards has been designed for customers who have difficulty verbally expressing their transit trip needs because of a cognitive or physical disability. There are a variety of different messages available, which help clarify the customer's travel request and communicate their disability in a discreet way to the ETS operator.
The card design and messages were developed through consultation with ETS Operators, the Advisory Board on Services for Persons with Disabilities, the DATS Advisory Group and the ETS management team.
The cards complement other customer travel aids currently available such as the Bus Hailer Kit and Mobility Cards. Customer Communication Cards are free and are available from the ETS Travel Training Office at 780-496-3000.
