Insulation Rebate
The City of Edmonton’s insulation rebate program ended on March 31, 2012. If your post-evaluation work was completed between April 1, 2011 and March 31, 2012 it would have been filed by your energy assessor with Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) and sent on to Climate Change Central for consideration.
The rebates offered by the City were available on a first-come first-served basis, until funding runs out. C3 continues to receive evaluations from NRCan for consideration for rebate processing.
NRCan's ecoENERGY program renewed
The ecoENERGY program has successfully reached its goal of 250,000 registered homeowners. As planned, the program is no longer accepting new registrations. To help ensure registered homeowners have time to get their post-retrofit evaluations and receive a grant, the Government of Canada is extending the deadline to June 30, 2012, for homeowners to complete post-retrofit evaluations and apply for a grant. All retrofit renovations must still be completed by March 31, 2012.
If you have questions regarding this program, please call ecoENERGY at toll free 1-800-O-CANADA (1-800-622-6232).
