Community Gardens

 
There are over 30 community gardens in Edmonton.  
The City of Edmonton works to support community gardening in partnership with the Community Garden Network of Edmonton and Area.

Did you know community gardens:

  • Bring people of different backgrounds together
  • Enable neighbours to get to know one another and encourage sharing and understanding
  • Promote safer neighbourhoods
  • Provide a valuable food source
  • Provide an excellent recreational activity
  • Encourages local area revitalization

  • Find community garden plots and opportunities
  • Connect with people who are enjoying the community garden benefits
  • Learn about how to start a new garden in your community
