Annual Reports

These reports highlight the activities of the City each year in a number of areas. These reports include the consolidated financial statements for the City of Edmonton, prepared in accordance with the standards established by the Public Sector Accounting Board of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, and audited by independent private-sector auditors. The financial statements and auditors’ report satisfy a legislative reporting requirement as set out in the Municipal Government Act of Alberta.

The annual report also serves as an opportunity to communicate with citizens, stakeholders and others regarding the City’s financial performance, and to provide related information regarding significant financial policies, strategies and events.
