Clareview District Park Development

Several exciting projects are now underway at Clareview District Park. The City of Edmonton is developing and constructing outdoor sports fields, park spaces and a multi-purpose recreation centre.
Edmonton Catholic Schools and the Edmonton Public Library are collaborating with the City to build a high school completion centre and the Clareview Library as part of the recreation centre – a first-of-its-kind facility in Edmonton.
These developments at Clareview District Park will combine to create a dynamic space full of activity, energy and vitality. A place where all will be welcome – a “community hub” where people of all ages and abilities can gather to learn, exercise, relax, meet and have fun.
Construction Timelines
Construction of the new recreation centre and library commenced in October 2011. The opening date is targeted for early 2014. The existing arena and hall will close in April 2012 and reopen in 2013.
See Clareview Parking Letter for more information.
