Discover an extraordinary selection of locally-produced merchandise at Winter Market on the Square! Warm drinks and heated tents will keep you cozy as you visit more than 40 vendors from the Edmonton Downtown Farmers Market (City Market Downtown on 104th). Original artwork, handcrafted jewellery, one-of-a-kind fashions and accessories, delectable baking and homemade honey, jams and dips are just a taste of what to expect.

Date: Saturday, December 4, 11 and 18, 2010
Time: 11am – 3pm
Location: Sir Winston Churchill Square*

*Note: On Saturday December 4, the Market will be moved indoors into the City Hall parkade.

There will be free activities and entertainment for the whole family including:

  • Hay rides – Noon to 3pm
  • Christmas carollers – Noon to 3pm
  • DJ – 11am to 3pm
  • Bonfires and marshmallow roast – 11am to 3pm
  • Crafts – 11am

Take Edmonton Transit to the Winter Market. Both City Hall and Sir Winston Churchill Square are easily accessible by bus and LRT. Visit www.takeets.com for route and schedule information.
