Mayor proclaims June to be ‘Bike Month’ in Edmonton

Save money, protect the environment and become healthy. Change your habits by taking your bike instead of driving and celebrate Bike Month during June with the City of Edmonton: you get to enjoy free events all month.

Some of the more popular free Bike Month events include:

  • Bike to Work Breakfast – June 4, 11, 18, & 25
  • Ride-in Movie Nights – June 7, 14, 21 & 28
  • Bike Dialogues – June 8, 15, 22 & 29
  • Mocktails on the Bridge – June 10 & 24
  • Bikeology Festival – June 19

So get on your bike and start peddling, start saving gas money, and be fully prepared to have a lot of fun!

Bike related events promoting active modes of transportation during the National Environment Week May 30 to June 5

June 1 – Information mini-fair at Churchill Square 11:30am to 1:30pm (free popcorn)
June 2 – Clean Air Day at City Hall 11:30am to 1:30pm
June 3 – Information mini-fair at Commerce Place 11:30am to 1:30pm
