Proposed Changes to Calder Neighbourhood Improvement Plan and Zoning Bylaw

A public meeting is being held to discuss the proposed changes to the Calder Neighbourhood Improvement Plan (NIP) to designate the properties at 12602 – 127 Avenue and 12706 – 126 Street, from Small Scale Renewal/Rehabilitation District to Low Intensity Commercial District and the Zoning Bylaw from (CNC) Neighbourhood Convenience Commercial Zone to (CB1) Low Intensity Business Zone.
The existing use, Automotive and Minor Recreation Vehicle Sales/Rental, does not comply with the Calder NIP and is not permitted under the current zoning. The proposed changes would allow the owner to continue the operation of the business at this location.
