Poinsettias at the Pyramids

The holiday season has officially begun at the Muttart Conservatory with the opening of The Polar Bear Express show in the feature pyramid.

With a thousand poinsettias in different forms and colours, the feature pyramid is a winter wonderland for all ages. Set amongst twinkling lights is a polar bear shaped from poinsettias and a train filled with toy polar bears headed for some Christmas fun.
The Polar Bear poinsettia is a special white variety being featured at the Muttart this year. A portion of the proceeds from the purchase of these plants will go to Polar Bears International, a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of polar bears and their habitat through research and education projects.
The show continues until January 10, 2011, and can be enjoyed throughout the holiday season, especially on our Christmas Crystal Sundays.
