Olympic Display at City Hall

To celebrate the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, a special display will be set up in City Hall.Dates: Friday February 12 to Sunday February 28
Time: The public will be able to view the display during regular City Hall hours.
Weekdays: 7am - 10pm
Saturdays: 9am - 5pm
Sundays/Holidays: 11am - 5pm
Location: City Hall
The display will contain a commemorative painting and an official Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch, both of which were presented to the City of Edmonton on January 13 during the Edmonton portion of the Olympic Torch Relay.
On January 13, 2010, Edmonton welcomed the Olympic Flame during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay. The commemorative painting, created by Artist Fritz Branschat while on stage in Churchill Square, captured the spirit of the event in a dramatic explosion of paint and energy. It was completed in 14 minutes. The painting was presented to the City of Edmonton by RBC, one of the official sponsors of the Olympic Torch Relay.
