Norwood Fire Station Hosts Grand Opening

Norwood has a new fire station in a new location and the City of Edmonton invites you to the celebration.
Date: Saturday, November 6, 2010
Time: 11am - 1pm (official ceremony starts 11:30am)
Location: Station 5 – Norwood, 9020 111 Ave.
There will be a free BBQ, station tours and activities for kids. Fire prevention officers will be on hand to provide safety tips for homeowners.
The new location and facility ensure community safety by allowing firefighters to continue to respond quickly and efficiently to emergency situations.
Parking Instructions: Free public parking is available across the street in the northwest parking lot of Commonwealth Stadium (Gate 6).
