Limelight Film Showcase: Illuminating Disability in Film
April 26, 2010
For two days in May, the Limelight Film Showcase will help illuminate disability in films from around the world.
Most of the films are written, directed and/or performed by people with disabilities. The showcase includes 16 films ranging from documentaries to musicals, and are intended to entertain, provoke thought, spark discussion and inspire.
Date: Wednesday May 12, 2010
Time: 4-9pm
Location: Zeidler Hall, Citadel Theatre
Date: Thursday May 13, 2010
Time: noon-8:30pm
Location: Dr. Bill Black Auditorium, Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital
A highlight will be Heart of a Dragon, a feature film written, directed and produced by Vancouver filmmaker Michael French with executive producers David Foster and Mark Gordon.
